Veggie Awards 2012 results

Crazy Jack’s Soft Apricots were shortlisted for Cook Vegetarian magazine’s ‘Veggie Awards 2012’, securing a Highly Commended award in the ‘Best Veggie Snack’ category. More than 350 products in total were entered for the awards, which saw almost 1700 Cook Veg readers vote for their favourite foods.

Products short listed for ‘Best Veggie Snack’ are judged on how much they filled a hole, their ‘moreishness’ and above all, their taste. A popular category, ‘Best Veggie Snack’ encompasses every kind of snacking variety and opportunity from crisps
and nuts to meal replacement and mid-morning/afternoon fillers.

Here’s the review: “This bag of organic dried apricots won you over for their indulgent rather than worthy taste. Quality control is clearly high on this company’s agenda and we’re always surprised that every morsel is perfect, down to the last bite.”

Crazy Jack’s organic ready to eat Soft Apricots are free from sulphur, normally used as a preservative, so are naturally dark and delicious.
